Beautiful Electric Steampunk Motorbike by Tom Sepe

I wonder why people are crazy about steampunk things. I wonder and I can’t find a satisfying answer for that. Although, when I see some of those steampunk mods and designs I realize why some people are crazy about them. It is enough to say that they look awesome and what is more important, they look unique. This is Tom Sepe from West Oakland and that is his steampunk motorbike. He used a 1967 Tote-Gote frame to start building the bike about a year ago. But he decided to make it use electricity to power the engines instead of fuel. He used a 15 HP electric motor but he had some troubles with placing batteries, he had to modify and enlarge the frame in order to find some additional space for them.As you can see, he did some pretty respectful work in designing some details of this bike so it looks like it is from 18th century or similar. I am sure no one in his town has a bike like that and it seem Stepe enjoys riding that electric steampunk thing.

Si iata ca mi-a sosit! Am facut o comanda acum 6 zile pe medieval-weaponry.co.uk; produsele nu le mai mentionez, ele putand fi usor admirate, datorita sesiunii foto realizate de SOA.
Azi am cautat pe net mai multe informatii despre parcelforce - serviciul britanic de posta, cel prin care mi-a sosit coletul.
Nu am gasit prea multe informatii; decat pe unele forumuri (unele dintre ele fiind negative, sau irelevante).

Despre parcelforce pot spune asa: poti face track la colet pe site-ul lor pe baza numarului dat de firma care ii contracteaza, foarte prompti in momentul in care le trimiti mail in a-ti raspunde, lucreaza in Romania cu GLS Romania, coletul mi-a venit direct acasa (ma rog...la birou adicatelea), mi s-a parut un serviciu extrem de rapid si la echipament stau foarte ok.
Revenind la subiect, pot doar sa spun ca sunt extrem de incantat de calitatea sabiei lui William Wallace (Braveheart) si de gluga de zale.
O sa mai urmeze photo sessions, fara ceas la mana si tricou cu magarusul Tibidabo :)), aceasta sesiune fiind facuta pe moment, la deschiderea coletului, aici la birou, dupa cum ziceam cu ajutorul lui SOA care manuieste cu mare talent un Nikon D90.
Eu mi's foarte incantat, si abia astept evenimentul major de anul acesta! :D
